@simbol can you please tell me what the default HDR values are? I changed mine and want to go back to default as you stated above until ENVSHADE gets updated. Thanks

They are 1.0 for all three (at least in my install).

Does HDR lighting on increase VRAM usage?

This might have been discussed before, but I was messing around yesterday with the cfg file, you can indeed turn HDR off manually while EA mode is still enabled. It does have some drawbacks (sun is a bit transparent at sunrise/set) but I believe the pluses (cockpit looks way better) outweigh the minuses. Give it a try. Just change HDR=1 to "0"
