Sometimes I go back to my profile and enter again in the CM and it finally loads up. Probably a bug, or caused by so many community addons installed?. Cheers, Ed Yes. I left and it ran for 20 minutes. I had lunch, came back and it was still spinning. I will do one at a time until I find the culprit. Stan
November 26, 20205 yr No problem here with content manager. Maybe some internet providers are blocked up because of Thanksgiving. If I put that IFR payware package in community, then MSFS ctd's and other problems. Removed it and all runs perfect. The designer of FS Academy IFR is aware and fixing the issue which started last MSFS update. They have great customer service and fix things fast. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. November 26, 20205 yr Moderator The culprit for me was the C152X mod, I had a version dated September 2020 and it locked up the Content Manager. Downloaded a later version - all is good. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

November 26, 20205 yr wow, be sure to post which add-on is the culprit. Some of those add-on sites have almost a 1000 different downloads available already. December 30, 20214 yr I sure wish the offending file would be listed somewhere. Just too many add-ons to go through them all. Why can't it just be not installed so it stands out in the list? LouP
January 5, 20224 yr There is a neat trick to find the one bad folder in community that is causing issues. View them all in alphabetical order, or by date order, but in some kind of order so you can stay organized. Remove exactly half of them and test MSFS. Now you know which half that bad one is in, and have eliminated half of them all, in just one step. Then add half of those from the group you know the bad one is in to the good group, and retest. Now you have eliminated 3/4 of them all in just two steps. As so forth. 2 to the 8th power is 256, so if you had 256 folders in community you would know the bad one in just 8 steps. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. June 14, 20223 yr It's always the community folder. I think people are just better off not even putting anything in it. It's a major hassle every month having to update all the files. And the servers too. I lost "bandwidth" (again) this morning, whatever that means. Azure voice server too. It made Vancouver look terrible coming in. My internet was fine. My sim is running pretty good these days, so no major complaints. OpenXR Toolkit fixed all my VR issues pretty much.
