Axis and Oh's - MSFS - cannot change views..?

Featured Replies

I'm loving the simpicity and ease of use of Axis and Oh's (payware) with MSFS but I cannnot change views with it - despite having no conflicting assignments in MSFS itself.

Everything else seems to work pretty well.

Am I missing something?

Any help appreciated,

Thanks!

Peter

Hello,

yes, sorry, that is an unfortunate situation with MSFS. The Event IDs to change views are documented in the MSFS SDK (SDK Documentation -> Content Configuration -> Variable Lists), but they don't appear to do anything. And the view controls in the MSFS controller assignment dialog don't have a counterpart in the EventIDs. The corresponding IDs are either not documented or they don't exist. Me and some other developers (=those with camera addons resting on the shelf) are eagerly waiting for Asobo to bring the SimConnect view and camera controls to life, as was promised during the Alpha.

At the moment you will have to configure view controls from within the simulator. Both methods (AAO and sim) can be used in parallel, as long as you don't make conflicting assignments.

Best regards

I tried to do the same with last version of MSFS and AAO but i was not able to assigne a button to a specific FS2020 view.

The problem is not solved yet from Microsoft as you know?
