Cheers, Rob I think equally impressive is: Airports with improved scenery in the 11.51b3 release (1,885 total) Often these upgrades are a lot more work than adding some new glider field. I know that I have slaved over LFPG for well over 100 hours (and it is really only the northern half that got upgraded, still working on the southern part)... Cheers, Jan
December 5, 20205 yr Author Thank you for your work Jan. I don't even know where to begin since i know nothing about development for the sim. Thanks to other developers reading this post. HAPPY FLYING !!!!

Cheers, Jan ye YBBN too me a year or two on and off, some one else is adding new runway
December 5, 20205 yr I am currently enjoying the OnAir company "game" which makes me fly to lots of different airports - it amazes me that pretty much every single one of them, even the smallest rural fields, have been crafted by someone in meticulous, often lovingly detail. The gateway is certainly paying dividends! Just landed in CYTA after having had to stop on KOGS for fuel - both airports really nicely done. My hat is off to the army of airport artists... Cheers, Jan
December 5, 20205 yr If you have got some pics to share of the new airports, that would be very cool!

I would - but posting pictures here is a major PITA (hint hint to the site owners!!) ...so no thanks. But there are other forums with a more "modern" way of attaching screenshots and you can easily take a look there. Here is a link to the thread where I "document" my work on LFPG, all this in the forum where Gateway Artists congregate and announce and share their work... https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/224273-updating-lfpg-paris-charles-de-gaulle/ Cheers, Jan
December 6, 20205 yr Author Looking good Jan. I hope you redo KMRB in the USA Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport. The runway needs to be elevated on one end. The terminal is brick. Thanks.

The runway can´t really be "elevated" by Scenery Gateway artists, that is up to the standard elevation mesh in X-Plane. I don´t think I will have time to work on the airport extensively...I am tasked by LR to fix up the major airports. But you could give it a try yourself, WED is free and I made an extensive tutorial that helped a lot of people improve their airport! Cheers, Jan
December 6, 20205 yr Thanks for sharing the link. I will check there for further images. CDG airport looks very good.
