Inibuilds A300 version 1.1 is out!

A heads up for everyone. Just got an email about the update. Now there is a passenger variant! Haven't flown here in a while but this was a nice surprise!

The videos look really impressive but the plane is of course rather expensive. Any current users want to provide any feedback on 1.1? How is the performance? Is it worth the money?

Haven't tested version 1.1 yet. However I can absolutely recommend it. It is, IMHO, one of the best airliners out there for XP and easily worth its price.

Does it autoland properly under limiting x-wind for autoland ?

Hmm.. haven't tested it in a while so hard to say. But knowing your alter-ego as "The Uninstaller" I have a sneaking suspicion you won't be entirely satisfied...

Would you like me to test any specific condition let me know and I'll try (however It might take some time as I'd have to re-learn the bird a bit as I've been away from in for a couple of months).

Well Richard, if you don't mind I would like to see how the AFCS deals with a max x-wind for autoland.

I believe limit is 32 knot effective x-wind component.

Thanks!

A video would be superb :-)

Haha..

I will try to do that. Might take some time, though..

Ok I've decided to splurge for it! Haven't been able to take for a proper flight but my initial impressions are it's incredibly immersive visually, especially in that cockpit - the screens are probably the best/most real feeling example of CRT displays I've ever seen in an FS cockpit (both X-plane and others). The performance is also excellent. Better than the FFS 757/767, for example.
