Carenado 182 in MSFS

Featured Replies

My brother and I both fly multiplayer in 2020. We both purchased the Carenado 182 from the MSFS 2020 marketplace. Yet when we try and fly the 182 together, either He, or I or both of us crash to the desk top. This only happens when we both try and fly the Carenado 182 together at the same time. Is there a solution to this by any chance, or what might be causing this? Thanks Walt

Interesting post... I have been investigating the same thing with the Carenado C182 and am planning a test this very morning..

Will let you know the outcome!

OK, completed the test and either of us can crash the other's MSFS by approaching within 6 NM in multiplayer mode while flying the Carenado C182.  The other user can be in any airplane, as long as they have the Carenado C182 installed.

I have reported this to Carenado.. and Zendesk is next.

Has anyone got the Autopilot in thyis aicraft to work using the vertical speed control. I set an altitude , say 6000 feet, then when I hit the button to get Vs, it changes the altitude I set, to the aircrafts altitude when the button is depressed, instead of allowing me to set 500 fpm, etc.... Also disengaging the AP doesn't seem to work all the time either. Very buggy.

It works, but not like in the A2A model for P3D, for instance. Instead, you have to press the ARM button before making changes to VS.

I wanted to create a new livery for this airplane. Has anyone had success in repainting this bird?

Thanks,

Peter

I discovered after watching some videos, that in the Vertical AP section, never ever hit the top button, only the bottom or Arm button. . Some good Youtube videos on this AP for the M20.
