Flybywire latest DEV mod NO ILS name an wrong course in MCDU

Featured Replies

Anyone else using the Flybywire latest DEV mod where many times the ILS name is not displayed in the MCDU and also the wrong course is displayed ?

I am talking about the DEV mode not the STABLE

You have do go click RAD/NAV button on your CDU and populate ILS frequency and course yourself

But that's not how it should work ...?
I see the stable version is not having this issue.

Some add on airports info can't be autofeed in MCDU this is known fact. But in any case it's good procedure to brief approach to crosscheck frequencies and ocurse. Also I assume you know how to set up ILS approach? LS button and activate approach phase?

I am just doing a flight from CYYZ (Toronto) to CYOW (Ottawa) using the latest developer version and it entered the ILS freq into the RAD/NAV page ok. I just enter the flight in the INIT page CYYZ/CYOW, go to F-PLAN select DEST CYOW arrival and select in this case runway ILS 32. When I select RAD NAV it shows LS freq of 110.30 which is correct.

Yes the FREQ is correct.
Is the COURSE also filled in after the FREQ input ?

No the CRS says 000 but it still intercepts the ILS perfectly

RNAV doesn't use an ILS frequency, see this video for more info,,
