December 22, 20205 yr At roughly what time of day are we expecting the 22 Dec update? The reason I ask is that I am experiencing a CTD on launch (at the Monument Valley scene). I have tried quite a few remedies and the only thing left (I think) is to re-install. However I was thinking of waiting for the new update before taking that rather drastic and time-consuming step, in the vain hope that the update may cure the problem. (You never know.)

I mean it crashes at the slideshow that you get when you launch the app. It shows various scenes from the USA update (Monument Valley, Statue of Liberty etc). I've already deleted everything from the Community folder.

December 22, 20205 yr The update runs before the monument valley picture I believe, so there may be a 50/50 chance it could recover, as it should validate all of the files in the official folder. This is one way to test, but this could be something else. MSFS
