November 28, 200619 yr HiPlease take a look at the attached pictures and let me know what causes this. What setting is responsible for this. Is it in the fsx config file?Stelios Stelios Christofides
November 28, 200619 yr Kalinichta Stelios, how many MBs of RAM are on your GPU? Looks like you're running out of VGA memory. Good luck and kind regards Jaap
November 28, 200619 yr not necessarily...- increase the value of FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION; search the forums if you don't know what and where it is- lower the demands: autogen, scenery radius, complexity, resolution; no such thing as free lunch- fly something slower :-)etc.
November 28, 200619 yr Those are blurries. :)Vilk and Jaap have good suggestions on the cause and how to fix. What Vilk was alluding to was ....With a fast plane and low level flying, that increases the odds of seeing blurries.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2530 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8, WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

November 29, 200619 yr Looks like your video card isn't keeping up with the textures loads.Check for better drivers.
November 29, 200619 yr If you are setting FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION to anything greater than .33 you also need to set your frames to a limited number. Leaving it at Unlimited may give you some extra FPS. but it totally ignores or it moots the FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION values that you may set.It could also happen if the FPS drops below 10 no matter what you set using FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION.Low Video memory could also contribute to the blurries problem.Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
November 29, 200619 yr Hi Manny and the restI have the FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION set to .1 (Is this by the way greater then .33? I forgot my maths lol). The frames setting is set to unlimited. My video card is the ASUS GeForce 6600 at 256MB memory.Stelios Stelios Christofides
November 29, 200619 yr Hi Stelis!Pssst! (.1 is less than .33! It's like 0.10 to 0.33!) :-)Sorry! I am a pro teacher in Maths (and English!?)Haraldh F.
November 29, 200619 yr Well I have solved the problem.Firstly I have set the max. frame rates to 21. Then I have changed the FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION to .2 All is well now. Thanks guys for the help; and thanks Haraldh F. for the explanation. Stelios Stelios Christofides
November 29, 200619 yr .2 is what I am using on FIBER_FRAME also.I frame lock at 25.Keeps the blurries away most of the time for meRhettAMD 3700+ (@2530 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8, WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
November 29, 200619 yr Author Stelios, Is that FS9 or FSX? If it's FSX are you running radar contact with it? And if so how? Craig
