Hi,

Is this with EA and TrueSky enabled?

747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.

asca (nor any other cloud texture add on) currently works with TrueSky enabled.  So if you have asca and turn on truesky it then bypasses ascar.

@TokitaumelieThese look very nice!  How is your performance when in overcast conditions at a busy airport with busy traffic?  Also what kind of active sky settings are you using?

Hi

Non-EA, No True sky. Just ActiveSky and the ASCA latest Beta.

VRAM at KSEA was around 3.2GB on departure. Went up to around 3.4GB Max, guessing its because of the 4096 textures.

Will advise after stress test 🙂

Less concerned about vram. More interested in CPu

Yeah, same experience on my side. With activeSky and ASCA P3D looks amazing. Even the Cloud depiction based on what you would see out of your window is perfectly accurate. The two major parts where EA looks more realistic is the shading of the athmosphere at all and the night sky. But with EnvShade you get more realistic shading, which brings in the light bluish haze of watervapor into the athmosphere.👍

Done. First video ever done using GeForce Experience. First time for everything. 🙂

Trying to upload it, will post link when done. Either here or in the P3D thread.

Thank you!

Very nice indeed and clouds look like the real ones,  not like volcanic ash.

I did see the same effect I get in your video at. 10 11. Seconds in clouds like flash/ pop

But mine is more frequent at panning is that the shadows?

thanks

mike

Roger that.

Not sure if its ASCA or a limitation of my hardware settings.

Hope your issues get resolved
