AxisAndOHs (AAO) drives VRInsight MCP and Elgato StreamDeck

Featured Replies

Hello,

I found with LORBYs AxisAndOHs AAO a very, very powerful software which supports now my VRInsight MCP II (Boeing) panel and my new Elgato StreamDeck. I contacted Oliver (AAO Developer) around Xmas if he has a solution for my hardware, and some days later, he had now developed a VRInsight MCP Bridge and a reworked plugin for the Elgato StreamDeck, my new favorite Hardware.

I have had a little "Homecockpit" i earlier days, or better said a kind of self constructed switch panel. But I was always unsatisfied that it fits the needs for one aircraft, but not or the other - and vice versa 😉

So, the Elgato Streamdeck XL fullfills my dreams now. You can make different profiles for all kind of aircraft. Make custom, animated buttons, so in the end it is a switch panel which fits every singe aircraft!

As example, you can see my layout for the MSFS B58:

So, behind every hardware you need a powerful software! But that is not all, you need also a very responsive developer, and that is Oliver Binder, which developed in record time the SD Plugin and also the VRInsight Combo Bridge.

Here is a very, very unprofessional video, just to show a very short sequence of the possibilities we have now with AAO.

AAO drives MCP and StreamDeck - YouTube

- Controlling the G1000/3000 completely

- access to dimmers and flood lights

- Starting sequencies for the CJ4 (WT)

and much more!

In the video you can see also the fantastic Flight Tracker SD plugin from nguyenquyhy. The little gauges you see in the SD buttons are from Flight Tracker.

Astonishing, what people create with MSFS now!

thx Oliver and nguyenquyhy

Are the Streamdeck profiles you are using available online?

Wow that is impressive!

Looks like a very neat and versatile setup.

I'll look into getting an Elgato Stream Deck XL.

AMD Ryzen R9 9950X3D | Asus Astral RTX 5080 OC | 32 GB DDR5 6000 CL30 | 3440x1440 G-Sync | Logitech Pro Throttles Rudder Yoke Panels | Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS | TrackIR 5 | Oculus Rift S

Just wanted to post and support @Lorby_SI and @guenseli re. this FANTASTIC bit of kit.

I have all my Boeing MCP II MCP functions working with EVERY MSFS aircraft and am a very happy camper this evening.  I have missed this so, in MSFS, and now that it works across the spectrum I can fully see P3D fading into the sunset.

Brilliant Stuff- and promises to get better as template availability gets more abundant.  Thanks Oliver and Guenter!
