So are Scan charging you extra for the PSU or are you paying the same as for 1000 watt?

For my build I have all the parts except case and monitor. I'm in no hurry though to be honest. My current PC will go to my daughter.

For case I'll get the Phenteks Evolv X. Not sure about monitor yet.

No, i had already paid for the hx1200i but the cost of the evga psu was about £30 more but they are going to waive that.

I would have recieved a refund if i had gone for the 1000w but having read what yourself and others have said about evga it seemed a bit of a no brainer to go with evga.

I suspect it may have been the last one, as it does not show on the website to buy that particular psu.

Still seems to be a supply issue with the higher wattage EVGA PSU's.

These days you need research, the money, a decent supplier... and luck, to buy PC components.😁

Yea don't you just. Sometimes i think you need a degree in computing to figure all the different spec's out and what they will do

And then hope you can get what you choose

Truth!!!!!  It's hard to find components and when you do... it's probably going to cost more than MSRP, sometimes waaaaaay more.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
