February 11, 20215 yr The next simulation update, (currently scheduled for the first week of March) should help show more flights. The sim currently won’t display flights with incomplete info on flightaware (I.e. things like missing departure/destination) the update is supposed to help with that according to the last Q&A. The live traffic in MSFS, isn’t 1:1 live, they’re AI flights generated from the flight info provided by flight aware, which is why their positions aren’t 1:1, and are sometimes behind (and sometimes even ahead). They’re just AI following a flight plan, not position tracked. Though I imagine position info is used to generate new flights that are already in the air, but only for their starting position. February 11, 20215 yr KEWR and KLAX are 2 places where I see traffic at busy times. I can see them go to/from gates at KEWR, maybe because there's ADS-B signal coverage on the ground there? But yea, regarding Tuskin38's post above, hopefully there's some enhancements coming to make this better.

And they deliberately stalled giving a response for more than two months. So fortunately nothing was stolen. At least we know now how concerned they are about the community.
