2 VR headsets at the same time

Featured Replies

Anyone know if it's possible to run 2 VR headsets at the same time? the Oculus quest 2 and rift , I've a 3090 and a 2080ti running on a Ryzen 9 and 32GB of mem...

Yes, I have a Quest 2 w/Link cable, and a Reverb G2 both connected to my GTX 2080 Ti card's high speed USB 3 ports. (Just solved a problem with my Quest 2 by re-running its setup and reconnecting the link cable).

I am curious.  Are you using two HMDs so that two people can be inside the VR cockpit of the same plane?  If so, how is the VR quality?  Would be fun to have the wife in the cockpit so she could why I enjoy flight simming so much.

can two people be in the same cockpit at the same time? if so how is your performance? what are your pc specs? in what sim are you doing this? xplane? msfs? p3d?

Luckily, the RTX 2080 has 3 display ports; one for my monitor, one for my Rift-S, one for the Reverb G2. Both VR sets are connected and wait in a dark bag under the desk. For P3D, I prefer the Rift-S, because I can use the right controller to switch to the ProAtc map. It is a pity that the Reverb does not offer a switch to desktop. The Reverb with its phenomenal sharpness is my choice for MSFS. At the moment, I use MSFS primarilly for sightseeing (maybe that will change with the arrival of the Aerosoft CRJ).

@warning23 I don't know, as I only use 1 headset at a time.

Nevermind then.
