Huh? The castle is a custom model, having Bing data off wouldn’t affect it.

It would. The mesh around it changes if you turn the Bing data off.

The offline mesh is different from the online mesh. The online version has higher resolution.

is it just me but i have the feeling as i fly in 2500ft above ireland that the ground textures in a lot of aears are unsharp/blurry ? running ultra settings

Yes, @ca_metal has it right - there was a huge raised section of ground in the middle of the castle and the esplanade was another raised mound, obscuring the castle model.
