February 17, 20215 yr This sim update made a lot of my local satellite/aerial imagery much clearer and much more updated. I typically fly around Minneapolis area and just in front of the nose here is my house (well my autogen house) but I can clearly see our tiny pool that we had up in Summer 2020. It wasn't like this in the previous update and certainly not in the RTM version. February 17, 20215 yr Will check this tomorrow, in my area the Bing data is 5 years old. An upgrade would be very much appreciated. Ken
February 17, 20215 yr Has Microsoft or Asobo officially advised that Bing data is automatically turned off by this latest update? just curious as I have been flying with the UK update installed for about three hours now, and only jus realized that Bing data was set to off. I wonder how many others are gleefully tooling around the virtual skies, not knowing that this setting has changed after the update. Robin
February 17, 20215 yr My BIng data was on before update an after update. I9-14900K, Gigabyte B760 Aorus Elite AX, RTX 4080, 32 ram.1 tb nvme M.2 SSD, MSFS 2020 on 2 tb nvme m.2 SSD
February 17, 20215 yr Mine was on. I think a lot of people had forgotten that they had switched it off to avoid the 3rd party airport CTD?

I once had the copilot take control of my airplane without my consent. Took me days and a Windows 10 re install, and MSFS re install before I came across a post at another forum, where another poor soul was having the same experience, and finally figured that the co pilot feature was on and had taken full control of the airplane. Even after turning this in MSFS on and restarting it was for numerous time again off. For the moment it has not happend again Carsten U

Some people report it is turned off by default after the update, and you have to turn it back on again. I think that is why some people are reporting ridiculously large improvements in frame rates (I saw one person claim 50% better). February 17, 20215 yr Yep, the update turned my Bing data off, yet oddly, ny son, who also has the sim on his PC found his Bing data had not been turned off. I don't really understand how an update can do this to some systems and not others (he does have a system fairly similar to mine). February 17, 20215 yr Ireland got some updated imagery, at least around the area where the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy bridge is. It’s still out of date though. The bridge and the roads it connects to are either missing or still under construction on the imagery. Edited February 17, 20215 yr by Tuskin38
