Can the livery really affect the autopilot

I do remember that I once read something about but just checked FBWs GitHub and in the FAQ section it reads:

Q: What are the liveries available?

A: All liveries for the default A320 are compatible with the A32NX Mod. You can download some of your favourite liveries at Flightsim.to.

After having done 2-3 perfect flights with no AP issues (steering away) I updated at around 0800z to the latest dev mod version and now AP went nuts again on my flight from EGLC to LOWW. Had to disable SEC1 and all good. But it worked yesterday? Anybody with same findings?

In the latest CFBW (2/19/21) disabling SEC 1 is disabled.

That's a shame. I disabled my liveries and just used the default A32NX and the aircraft just starts a 60 degree 2.5G circle every 20 minutes or so in NAV or HDG mode. I just nosedived it out of frustration.

It sucks but it's a new sim. I have the patience to wait for the hand made autopilot, or at worse, the CRJ. Is what it is lol.

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

Are you using the CFBW or the dev/stable one? I just finished a perfect flight with a ditto landing in the CFBW one. No problem(s) whatsoever.

I've been using the CFBW version but when I started encountering a faulty AP I switched to the dev version to no avail.

Quick suggestion that may or may not help. Try completely deleting the A320NX folder from your Community folder. Then use the FBW Installer to install a fresh new copy. According to the Installer, current dev version is 6a26f52 and custom fbw version is 890a4a7.

Also, do you have any other aircraft mods installed? Such as the Working Title stuff or anything else that has to do with aircraft systems?

Liveries don't effect the autopilot.

That doesn't even make any sense, they don't contain any files that override the autopilot files.
