March 12, 20215 yr Maybe just bad luck, but with three boards received DOA, you've got to wonder, I bought the Aorus B550i pro AX for my mini ITX build: - First board had a broken Nvme standoff making it impossible to secure the PCIE 4 SSD - Board 2 was completely DOA, couldn't even start the PSU - Board 3 started but on board RGB was not working & the Q Flashback button wasn't working so couldn't flash BIOS with my 5600x (don't have another AM4 CPU) All in all really disappointedf because it seems like the best ITX board in the B550 category, I bought the MSI MPG Gaming Edge wifi which will arrive today but between that & my Be Quiet SFX PSU being also DOA, I am really at loss for words on my bad luck 😞 Edited March 12, 20215 yr by canadiantree MSFS. March 12, 20215 yr Sorry to hear that. To be honest, Ive always had good luck with Asus boards. In fact I would have to go back years to recall a board that wasn't Asus. Did you speak to Gigabyte re board 2 and 3 issues? Edited March 12, 20215 yr by martin-w

March 12, 20215 yr All my builds for more than ten years had been Gigabyte-based, so I naturally went with their z490 board for my last upgrade, but it turned out to be faulty, too. It took 3 minutes to POST, then the onboard LAN stopped working. I wasted way too much time trying to get it to work, finally returned it... Looks like I'm back to being an Asus guy... 😉
March 12, 20215 yr Author Asus is a good brand. Their B550 ITX board is abit disappoining though. No built in rear I/O shield & too few USB ports. MSFS.
