They don't show you the bit where it says: 'I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.' 🤣

I posted about this a long time ago.

Fascinating technology. I have no doubt it will save lives.

Of course, as Alan rightly points out, in his usual cheeky style, one day all aircraft will be equipped with such technology. When that day comes they will all be networked together. "Great idea", they will proclaim, great for situational awareness. But deep within the chips (and fish) something stirs. Something malevolent will rear its evil head.

You know the rest of the story. Thousands of Cessna's, piper's, Pipistrel's, you name it, will form flocks of pure evil and deliberately dump oil on The Whitehouse, The Kremlin and all famous landmarks.  And once our nefarious flock discover how Harry and Meghan were treated... Buckingham Palace too.

You decide if the last attack is evil or not.

The above, is officially the weirdest thing I've ever typed.

Thank you very much for your advice. It reminds me of a few christmas's ago when my son and daughter decided that as they had never seen me drunk, they should buy me a bottle of Jack Daniel's.

I remember it well. I recall chopping onions for our christmas dinner and gigling like a little girl as chuncks of onion were flying across the kitchen

Soon after, I found myself sitting at my PC ordering the most expensive joystick and throttle I could find. Son and daughter were obviously gigling in the background and full on historical laughter as I toppled sideways of my chair.

Full refund applied for on boxing day. Phew, thank god for the Amazon easy return policy.

I should add. I don't drink. This was a one off.

One day, quite possibly soon, passenger airliners will have a cockpit crew consisting of one pilot and a dog.  The entire flight, from gate to gate, will be controlled by the computer systems, the pilot's job will be to monitor the systems, the dog's job will be to make sure the pilot does not touch any of the controls.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
