Any addon scenery for KJFK?

Featured Replies

Any (preferably) freeware scenery for KJFK that have the parkway visual lead-in lights for 13L? If no freeware available I will of course consider payware 🙂

It’s handcrafted in the deluxe edition but I’m not sure if it has the lead in lights. Do you have the deluxe , have you tried it out ?

Yea funny, I actually live in the area about 10-15nm east of JFK yet, because I'm only into flying GA for the last 10 years, I have not even tried flying that approach yet 🤪

I used to ONLY fly the commercial airliner stuff for about 15 years straight and have done my share of checkerboard approaches, as well as the visuals for JFK 13L and LGA 31...good memories!

Unfortunately no.

I'm not on MSFS yet, but from Alpha testing I remember KJFK to be one of those airports I probably wouldn't buy an addon for because it's on the same level as many (maybe not all) payware airports you're used to. That is only if you have the deluxe version though I guess.

As I understand, it's not difficult to employ the dev mode to add lights to the sim. There are several YouTube videos explaining how to do it.

it isnt a problem to adding lead in lights to runways. Ive done it several times in the sceneries I've made so far, but you cant make them off set or turn like is the situation with the lead in light for the parkway visual for 13L at JFK. It is a bigger fish to fry and not something you can do with default assets as far as I know.
