Just Flight Piper Arrow III

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I can’t find the Piper Arrow 3 in the market, in the sim.
Am I missing something?

Thanks.

You need to order it on the JF web site.

Don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but on takeoff it instantly tips over to the left/crash.
Using honeycomb gear, and don’t have this problem with other aircrafts.
Fuel tanks are fine, weight and balance should be good.
I don’t get off the runway!

Make sure your key binding for autopilot is in off position

Switching the autopilot master, I can see it switching on/off in aircraft.

also tried directly in aircraft, still same problem, it should be off.

I have never experienced this before.

Just tried a few other aircraft, seems to be controlling just fine, no problems at all.
Is the Arrow bugged?

It tips over during takeoff roll, before you are in the air? I have that problem with most MSFS planes if I am not very careful during takeoff:

- Increase throttle very gradually. Give the plane time to react

- Adjust elevator trim to keep the plane a little longer on the ground. It shouldn't take off before it hits 65-70 Kts.

Thanks Peter, that was my first experiment.
In manual it says: “applying a large control input will override the autopilot when engaged”
Even with yoke full right, it still tips VERE aggressive left, it’s so hard I’m upside down the instant it slips the runway.
If the autopilot was engaged, it should release right away, but I checked over and over again, and it’s off.
I am absolutely clueless at this point, should I contact support?

I am using both honeycomb hardware, and pedals, all checked for control input, nothing wrong there, and all other planes work fine.

Tried taking off using AP, and trim wheel only, can see yoke moving correctly, but a few meters over ground still instantly tips left upside down!

Realism settings tried turning all the way down.

This aircraft is bugged!

The aircraft is not buged, you have a problem your end. Make a new control profile from the default.

Never ever take off with autopilot. Engage it at about 1000 feet.

Make sure your Flight Model is set to Modern.

Make sure your flight model setting has not unexpectedly and spontaneously changed from "Modern" to "Legacy".   This happened to me a while back and confounded me that the default Bonanza with Robert's mod would do the same thing you're describing, but other unmodded planes seem to be OK (they were not...but were controllable at least.)  Drove me batty and I did NOT change it.....it changed on its own!
