Saw the same on FB, so the  new dev, and experimental are being forked  to create  a seperate aircraft, and current liveries wont work until the creators develop new versions...is what i take from it.

Good to see it's remaining free, and will appear as such in the Market Place ( and still downloaded from the Installer). I suppose this also helps with keeping it current, and any Asobo updates should not break it in the future, as surely they will now get advanced info on the updates.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung  NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive

Well that will teach me to jump in and try the latest version.... It's is listed seperatly in the aircraft menu, as A320NX, there's no placeholder picture, and despite it being installed i cannot see the aircraft in the profile area.

Worked fine for me, but I deleted the entire FBW dir from Community before installing.

I did also.

Hmm, i removed the experimental version, and now installed the dev version, (whilst the experimental version showed up in the aircraft selection menu as a seperate model, now there's nothing other than the default Asobo version ) off to clear the lot from the FBW folder and re-install

Edit: Sorted, removed and re-installed, all good.

Update

AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung  NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive

That explains why I just loaded the neo and ended up with the default plane without flypad. Now loading the experimental mod from the hangar but indeed without livery in the hangar means no preview picture. Well, will see in few minutes how it looks like ...

edit. Well no model shown in sim. Must have done something wrong

edit2: realized I had to update the installer (that green info box at the top can be overseen easily, also deleted the previous mod and just reinstalled the exper mod from scratch

The only liveries at present are the default , and FBW. But i doubt it will take long for new ones to become available.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung  NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive

1st livery up on .TO  TAP

AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung  NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive

I'll wait until they release that tool to convert existing liveries before I updated to this version.

I made a .bat file to copy my textures(and coffee mug) and it works fine.

After every texture update I run the bat

I9-14900K,  Gigabyte B760 Aorus Elite AX, RTX 4080, 32 ram.1 tb nvme  M.2 SSD, MSFS 2020 on 2 tb nvme m.2 SSD

I guess I could do a find and replace with notepad++. Backing up just in case.

Making it a separate plane, I wonder if that means it won't conflict with the A330 and A321 mods anymore?

How long until you got a CTD? I haven't had one yet, been flying for about 15 minutes. Mind you I'm using one I converted myself, not a downloaded one.

aircraft.cfg, model.cfg and texture.cfg need to be updated so they point to the flybywire folder now.

I just compared the files to one of the updated ones on flightsim.to.

5 mins into flight with the TAP livery, and instant when i used the Easy Jet one as soon as i selected fly. No issues with either default FBW or House version.
