Anyone fps drop over AVOMO?

Featured Replies

Hi,

does anyone can check if he's a fps drop over the waypoint AVOMO at FL340 with the A320NX Experimental Version?

For some a reason I have before and after that WYP fps around 5-7 that messes my flight up.

It ridicilous. I set my rendering settings from Ultra to Low. Now I got 11fps en route. Maybe I need to update the FBW A320. But this is really weird and annoying.

Any addon scenery installed in that area?

Nope everything standard in Africa. I had to perform a restart and updated the FBW. Now I have 27-33fps over Africa. Of course now I don't know if the FBW has caused it or something else, but it's annoying. Next time I will update the FBW Experimental before performing a flight.

I had something like this over remote Indonesia. My top of the range system entered a permanent stutter. A similar issue was fixed in the Asobo hotfix a week or two ago but I suspect there are lesser used remote areas that still have issues. Dont have these issues over US or Europe.

That is getting really annyoing. Fps drops at into Istanbul region 11fps. I use a i9-10850k with RTX3090 and 32GB. Performance shoudn't be like that, That wasn't like that before the last patch. Anyone experience the same? Any soluton?

Although better after the last hotfix, there are still stutter fields scattered around.

Honestly, the last hotfix messed up my sim. Before that everything was good. I had no issues while on my regular flights. Pretty weird, I don't understand that. Maybe it's a mod or something. The last FBW patch seem to have quite a lot of issues either, I hope in the future asobo will be able to built a version that works for everyone on the same level excellent or at least pretty good.

The pauses / performance issues are frustrating.  For me they seem to be related to specific areas and are repeatable.  (default scenery only).

With a pc spec like yours, and all the other reports like this, it is quite obvious it is the sim that needs fixing.  Unfortunately, only Asobo can do that at the moment.

If you think that is frustrating, wait until someone says it is your pc, or your settings, or something in the community folder, because theirs is running just fine.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

It's weird, because mine was running fine either. The lowest fps that I got were around 19 on large detailed airports with A320 mod. However, I havent change anything expect to switch to the serperated FBW Version and installed a new livery for that version. Maybe that causes the issues. I will try to reinstall that part and see what might happen. Thank you for the indirect hint 🙂

This is so frustrating. I started a flight with the standard A320mod livery after reinstalling it and deleting all secondary liveries. That seem to have fixed the issue with the fps. At least while on the depature airport. I had around 25-30fps. Live Weather seemed not working according to real metar. After take off the sim crashed. Error Message:

I am tired of reloading the plane and setting up everything from the beginning. This CTD need to stop and we need a autosave feature, at least when it crashed it shouldn't be a hassle to reload the flight.
