April 16, 20215 yr Updated to 1.15.7.0 (France + Benelux) which added a bit of extra "landmarks". However, i'm unable to see them in full glory. They are just regular computed buildings instead of handcrafted. Example: MAS (Museum Aan de Stroom) in Antwerp should look this (screenshot from MSFS announcement): However, it looks like this (ingame screenshot) Same goes for other new handcrafted stuff. Rolling Cache is OFF, in Data settings: Online Functionality is ON, Bing Data World Graphics is ON, Photogrammetry is ON etc... so it should work but it's not. Idea's are welcome. April 16, 20215 yr Author Ah, no, i did not... will probably do the trick? (personnaly, i find all these different update options more then confusing). Yeah if you go and download the latest world update from the marketplace it will most likely fix the problems. Vote to fix transparent sun visors having no effect on the sun glare effect in MSFS at: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/sun-shades-sun-visors-not-influencing-light-in-cockpit/691565/
April 16, 20215 yr Author It did but it introduced others. There are lot more (computer generated) church towers visible right now, they destroy the city view. Also, in Antwerp, the Groenplaats (which is a open space) has now turned into a (computer generated) building... LOL. April 16, 20215 yr I made a similarly stupid mistake. I clicked on "Buy and Download" and just assumed it had downloaded. I was scratching my head a bit why the map didn't show the yellow exclamation marks for the new POI's but I guessed it was just an oversight on ASOBO. Wouldn't be the first. But then I flew across Reims and was like... "Wait... where is the Cathedral" went back and checked my library only to find out that I still hadn't downloaded the package... And voila, all the new POI's showed up on the map with the yellow exclamation marks just as with previous updates. So when in doubt, check your map. If you don't see those, then it is not installed. Although they differ in size and colour they all have the same shape. Also they are too dark compared to other buildings. As for the Groenplaats, I think they took the Onze Lieve Vrouwebasiliek ( a nice model ), turned it 90 degrees against the clock and and placed it in the middle of the Groenplaats, Just north of this wrongly placed object you can see a low red building with the outlines of the basilica, with one of the many church towers standing beside it. They would have done better leaving Antwerp as it was.
