May 3, 20215 yr Hello, I purchased MSFS on the day it was released and have been working my way up the ladder in terms of confidence and flying skills using the Cessnas then onto turbo props and am very happy with the way I can now handle the Daher TBM 930. I am now stuck on what passenger jet is the next step up as after having a brief look, they all look so intimidating. Any recommendations on which one is the easiest to learn going on from the Daher, would be appreciated. May 3, 20215 yr I'd say the next would be WT CJ4 -> FBWA320 and possibly if you want to spend some money then Aerosoft CRJ. AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display
May 3, 20215 yr Are you more interested in business jets or airliners? If you want to start flying airliners, I‘d give the A320 a try (Flybywire version). There are loads of good tutorials on Youtube. It‘s the easiest of the airliners we currently have I guess and with the Flybywire mod one of the most realistic ones. May 3, 20215 yr Go with the Working Title CJ4 mod. It’s the most complete jet currently out there and works more or less as intended. It uses Proline avionics complete with Navigraph charts feature. Their flight plan manager is custom built with working VNAV capabilities. The FBW A320 is under heavy development and missing key features (managed descents and flight plan manager) so it won’t operate as the real one does. The Aerosoft CRJ has a couple large bugs - throttle control issues and flight plan following issues. May 3, 20215 yr Working Title CJ4 and Flybywire A320 are both excellent options. Agree that the avionics in the Citation makes for a less frustrating experience. There are excellent YouTube tutorials for both. Learning to fly airliners and to confidently handle their systems from cold 'n dark to shutdown has for me been a very rewarding experience. It's a great time to be a simmer 😁 Good luck! Citation CJ4: https://github.com/Working-Title-MSFS-Mods/fspackages/releases/tag/cj4-v0.12.1. What a great machine. Only one fright when I managed to turn off auto pilot and yaw dampers, thank good ness I was high enough to sort out what I had done, Blackpools roller coaster had nothing on this experience and still landed in one piece. Thanks for the links, I shall now learn how to fly it correctly 🙂 Edited May 3, 20215 yr by Espana Pete Error AMD Ryzen 7 5800X on ROG CROSSHAIR VIIl DARK HERO (AM4), Asus ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3080 V2 OC and 32 GB Vengeance Pro Ram 3600MHz.
