June 6, 20215 yr This is what I was expecting to see when I watched the show, and I was pretty disappointed that they were either too cheap or too lazy to do it. This is one of those little details that let you know that the people making something care. https://heavy.com/entertainment/star-trek/fan-fix-for-data-in-star-trek-picard/amp/ We are all connected..... June 6, 20215 yr All they need to do now is fix the dialogue, art direction, story, casting, pacing, direction, camerawork and the music and it'll be almost worth watching. 🤣 Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

What can I say, Kurtzman was involved. 😕 They even employed a writer who admitted he "didn't get science fiction". Bonkers! Edited June 6, 20215 yr by martin-w
June 6, 20215 yr Picard was one of those things I wanted to like, but sadly it was a risible PC box-ticker, and it wasn't helped by the fact that Patrick Stewart came across like he was phoning it in a lot of the time. I think I made it to three episodes before jacking it in, and considering it was basically free for me to watch it, and I'm a pretty big Star Trek fan, that's definitely not a good sign. Mr Chock's words above are echoed by MartinW. Lets hope season 2 is better. And lest not mention Star Trek Discovery. 😡 Edited June 6, 20215 yr by martin-w
June 7, 20215 yr I agree with Alan, I wanted to like it but it fell flat. I even like Alison Pill but this one was another example of a bunch of cast that I like failed by a poor production This is the era of ruining Star Trek and Star Wars to make it impossible to enjoy my pastime with my daughters 🤣 Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
June 7, 20215 yr It's called 'progress', the anathema of those old enough to remember how it used to be. Noel Edited June 7, 20215 yr by birdguy The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
