I have never had any response re. getting rid of the launch videos by inserting the Fastlaunch parameter on Steam (Have tried both capital and lower-case L's). I have been able to shave off a small amount of load time by deleting the tube liners, which I don't fly, but that's about all I've been able to accomplish to shorten load times. Is there something I'm missing about getting the Fastlaunch option to have an effect?

i have it like this and it seems to work fine (never seen those launch video for the last 9 months 😜)

Mine is the same as Bad_T and as with him, haven't seen the videos since it was changed. I do see the splash screens, but not the launch videos. It really doesn't make launch that much faster. BTW, you can also change the splash screens to your liking.

Liveries are a big culprit in increased load times. Try removing them and see what it does for you. 

ah yeah thanks @Phantoms i should have been more precise, it's true that it removes only 2 little videos (asobo and blacksomething can't remember 🙊), but you still get a few pics and stuff, so the difference is not that huge, maybe the OP was expecting a more drastical change.

So op admits the unnecessary intro movies are indeed skipped but isn't sure what has sped up loading times..

 🙄 Ok..  This isn't a Phil Swift trick that over promises to "fix a lot of damage".. It simply skip intro videos. Nothing more, nothing less

Ah! Thanks. I changed the fastlaunch text string to have the dash in front and no caps, and it works now. That eliminates the annoying bright Asobo and BlackShark intros. Wasn't so much for the time, but having those bright splash screens explode at me when I launched at night really annoyed me. This, combined with deleting some unused models makes a small, but noticeable decrease in load time.

i've been using fastlaunch for a long time. it still works for me.
