Yup. All the normal stuff. 

If this never ending battle against the developers is the future of gaming then I think I'm gonna stick to my Sinclair Spectrum in future.

I would just save your folders somewhere and delete and reinstall the sim. A pain but after all it's just time involved. PS Please keep working on Exeter!😀 PS Are you sure it's not coincidental with the heat and a hardware/throttling problem? My PSU went literally bang yesterday and I had to whip to the shop and replace it.

It worked fine when it was much hotter pre update. 

It'll take getting on for 24 hours to reinstall and I don't think my computer will survive that without busting another GPU fan. 

It's still possible to develop, but flying is hopeless. I'll give it a few days and then send them a word not allowed in a box.

Huh the patch seems to added a missing (but closed) airport in Nova Scotia, Canada. CCW3, Kings County Municipal Airport.

It has been closed since April 2016. It was there in the satellite imagery, (new enough imagery to have the closed markings on the runway), but there was no scenery attached to it.

It's not selectable from the world map, you can only see it by actually flying there, or in programs that read the scenery files like Little Navmap.
