I am running Active Sky for P3Dv4, and occasionally I like to fly without a specific flight plan. Active Sky keeps reminding me to load one. I dont want to, and it is annoying. How can I stop it from reminding me?

Cheers

Why then are you even running Active Sky?  It provides weather along the route of you flight plan.  What else are you expecting?  At a minimum just give AS your departure and destination airports.

I believe I was answering a bit of a different question.  If he is flying without a flight plan then why is he running Active Sky during that particular flight?  That was my point.

In the AS UI, click on Options | Sim Text Message Options | Show Flight Plan Warning Messages, then unclick the check box. You may need to restart AS and P3D.

AS does not need a FP to operate correctly. It will track wx wherever your aircraft is with or without a FP. I often fly without a plan and As follows wherever I go...kind of like Mary's Little Lamb, now that I think of it....:-)
