July 18, 20214 yr Hello! I have an VRinsight Boeing style Combo 2. Is it possible to asign its buttons and dials to MSFS2020 via Axis and Ohs? I would like to use downloaded scripts from flightsim.to for the PMDG DC-6 for example and in the future for the NGX and so on, when they are released. Thank you! On the AxisAndOhs Weebly Com website you will find a VRI Bridge program as a free download. This is a separate module that connects the Combo to the WebAPI of AAO. LORBY-SI
July 18, 20214 yr Hi There, I have a VRinsight Boeing style Combo 2 and it works a teat with the FBW a320 NEO in MSFS. I have Axis and Ohs and an app that interfaces with VRinsight from Axis and Oh (beta free download). I have created a template and just have not uploaded it. I have all the rotatry buttons working and as a bonus without any config the comms panel works as well. really pleased with the result. Some buttons I cannot find scripts for like being able to start the APU or control the packs but most work. I do not have the PMDG DC6 so cannot comment on its compatibility. Hope this helps
July 18, 20214 yr Author Thank you guys! AAO is awesome! 😎 Klaus Schmitzer i7-14700KF 5.6GHz Water Cooled /// ZOTAC RTX 4070 TI Super 16GB /// 32GB RAM DDR5 /// Win11 /// SSDs only DCS - XP12 - MSFS2020

Since there is no published SDK or specification for those devices, making these bridges must be done "in the blind" - and that is a lot of work for the person with the device (=you) and the programmer (who doesn't have the device). About 2-4 weeks worth of back and forth trial&error. So the first thing would be to find a user who is willing to invest that kind of time, and persuade the programmer (=me) to do it for free again. I'm not sure that it is worth it to invest all this effort into a project that creates something that to my best knowledge already exists (= LINDA with FSUIPC?). August 2, 20214 yr The Airbus FCU Panel is already working fine with this. I do have an MCP1 and 2 also. I'll pull the 1 out of storage and see if I can get anything working with it. Cheers, Andy.
August 3, 20214 yr OK tested the MCP1 and it doesn't work reliably at all. When I first tried it most buttons didn't work, none of the encoders worked at all. Of the few buttons that did show up as working, they didn't after a minute or 2 of testing. The FCU I have has been working fine. Cheers, Andy.

The AAO VRI Bridge is only compatible with the "2" variant. Edited August 3, 20214 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
August 3, 20214 yr I didn't expect MCP1 being that different to MCP2. Unfortunately LINDA is waiting for a reliable MSFS SDK and is working only partially now. May be it is best to invest in more modern hardware. Thanks for your help.

But even a small difference is enough to break it - computers are mean like that. That is why I need someone who is willing to invest the time to do trial&error runs with bridge prototypes for a couple of weeks. I can't do it on my own, I don't have any VRI hardware. LORBY-SI
August 3, 20214 yr I can help if you like, I may have some data that will help too if I can find it. I used to run the support forum for VRinsight when they had one, so I have quite a bit of their hardware too. Cheers, Andy.
August 14, 20214 yr Good Morning, UK BST. I am a 77 year old with vrinsight panels, FCU and Boeing. I have been unable to get either working successfully in MSFS 2020 with AAO's Paid version. If there is a published Profile{?} from either pcpilot58 or Andydigital that I could try, I should be most grateful. My XTouch Mini is also gathering dust 😞 but that's another {sorry} story. BR. M. October 25, 20223 yr Hello. I've been following the conversation and I can't help but contribute my opinion, as I see that many people have the mccombo 1 and/or 2 and it was an expensive investment and it's a shame that we currently see a very good simulator with top planes and we see the our panels not working some things. I have the first version of mccombo and I use it with Linda, which allows me to use almost everything on the panel in the default planes, but with the avsim module for pmdg 737, very few commands I can make it work and the ones we give more importance to are the rotaris, no work. In the case of Leonardo Maddog it's a shame that there is no module for Linda or other software because everything worked in previous sims and now the only thing that works is the rotary course! And it's a shame because it's a wonderful plane that I love to fly and like me many people will think. So I leave a tip for Vrinsight itself that along with so many other hardware that exist for many years and the manufacturer has never abandoned the driver update as in the case of logitech, here such a large investment in a panel that makes our new simulator very different, it's a pity that Vrinsihght doesn't update the drivers. So I'm praying that the programmers of modules for Linda, please don't forget Maddog or leave some tips for someone to be able to create one from scratch, since the fsx/p3d one doesn't work on MSFS. Thank you very much, Best regards, Fernando
