It's a race between three companies. Lockheed Martin, Ultra Safe Nuclear and Blue Origin. Although no idea what Blue Origin know about nuclear power. 

 

I agree with him that a Hall Effect Nuclear Electric propulsion makes more sense.

The US Government is serious about any way to waste other peoples money.

While I too agree with a lot of what this person says, his voice is more annoying than fingernails on a blackboard! 🤬

Why a waste. Its the ideal way to get humans to Mars or anywhere else in the solar system in a fraction of the time. Its the logical direction.

 😁 Come to the UK and listen to some of our accents and suddenly he won't seem so bad.

He sounded like a normal American to me.

😁 it's not about you. It's about our current endeavors to put a man... and women, don't forget the ladies, on Mars. And then there's the moon of course. If you haven't heard we're heading there too.

The amount that's been allocated for nuclear thermal propulsion is small, you won't notice it on your taxes.

No offense, just having a little chuckle. I think many of our politicians seem to have come from there or some place extraterrestrial.😂

You are so wrong! No advanced extraterrestrial race would allow the organic abominations represented by our politicians to be present on their planets, space stations, Dyson Sphere's, Ringworld's, or undersea bases. 

They made such carbon based abominations illegal millions of years ago.

I spent most of the first 20 years of my life living in Iran, Switzerland, France, Germany and Italy. I've heard more than a fair bit of strange accents.

This person's accent wasn't all that obnoxious, but it was the mouth-full-of-steel-marbles and the loud volume that I found annoying. 😹
