Well, we checked DNS has already finished propagating world wide for our new IP.

So we're kinda scratching our heads why some of you have this issue.  It's very strange.

We can't reproduce it.

Bryan, I am doing nothing different as to what I did before you fired up the new website. I still do have this problem and me, too, still get the "The new FS2Crew Website will be on-line shortly!" message when attempting to go to the new website. You definitely must have an IP problem. And also I am not comfortable with remote desktop connections, sorry.

Kind regards,
Hans van WIjhe

Exactly. I'm trying to tell Bryan, there's a problem IP address. Which my IT friend said. The conflict is coming from host domain.. For example you cannot view nothing on the new page even to purchase a product..

Again, for those of you who have this issue, I need to do a remote desktop with one of you to see what's going on.

I cannot reproduce it on my side, so it must be some kind of weird internet issue somewhere.

If you want to do a remote desktop with me, send me a message via Avsim.

Unless I can a remote desktop with one of you guys, all I can do is try to guess what's going on your side, and guessing is tough.

Cheers,

That's perfectly normal... we're prepping our new site for release.

So as I've been saying over and over. Your site is NOT active. This is why for some reason some of us are having the XML error issue. 🙄

No, the site is perfectly active.  That's just a gate so people don't enter the site and start trying to buy stuff when we're not ready to sell or show the site yet.

No it is NOT active. We are having problems with the IP link. You do not seem to get this. Remote access will not solve the problem. I'm starting to get really annoyed, cause your not listening. I'll tell you right now. You've lost me as a customer!! I'm done talking about this. FYI hire a proper It person to fix ffnn problem.

From my Friend who works in IT

" I suspect that there is an encoding problem: the XML file is in one encoding, and the parser is trying to decode it assuming a different encoding, and this results in a failure to decode the non-ASCII characters. You have given us no information about encodings, so this is entirely conjectural. Try to establish

(a) what is the actual encoding of the XML "on disk" on the server

(b) what does the XML declaration at the start of the file (if any) say that the encoding is?

(c) what is the media type and encoding of the HTTP response that delivers the XML payload to the browser?

Chances are, I would guess, that there's something you need to change in your web server / HTTP configuration to ensure that XML files are properly delivered."

Bryan understand this please.
