Working Title mods

Featured Replies

Would anyone have idea why I cannot get any of the working title mods to work. The installation is easy and everything looks correct in the community folder but it will not show up in game. I download and copy into community fold just as the instructions say to do. What am I missing? What could be interfering with the install? My cockpit still looks default in the G3000, G1000, and the CJ4. This has me completely stump. If anyine has ideas as to why this would be happening would love some input. Thanks

When you go to your Community folder and click open the folder titled "workingtitle-aircraft-cj4" do you see 4 folders (Effects, html_ui, ModelBehaviorDefs, SimObjects) and 2 jayson files (layout and manifest) ?

Make sure it is not just the mod zip files you have in the Community folder. The mod folders for the Community folder need to be extracted from the zip down to the level so if you click once on the 'final' mod folder you immediately see the type of folders and files that vcarlo listed above.

Also, if you have a standard MS store install of MSFS2020, the Community folder should be at

C:\Users\your_name\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community

Yes it shows all 4 files

The question was >>> 4 FOLDERS and 2 FILES , not 4 files (exact file structure is required) for this stuff.

Thank you all for your input. I am no expert with computers and know just enough to break them lol. It seems I was not getting them into the right community fold I guess. I did it this way and it seems to be working now. I have always been able to install mods livery's and such just directly to the community through C:\Flightsim2020\Community. I copied what Al posted and installed that way and it is working now. Can someone tell why it did work with the other path for other mods but not this one? I am guessing with the reinstall it changed something. Thanks again to all.

Yes, sounds like the MSFS2020 reinstall was to the 'standard' location, but your original install was not.

I recommend you to use MSFS Addons Linker instead of installing manually in the Community folder, it is much easier to use and to organize all your add-ons with that program.

I suggest that you delete each of the Working Title packages that you placed in your community folder.

Then,  use "MSFS Community Downloader" to install them and keep them up to date.

I can't tell you how much easier this made my life.  No more stalking forums and github for updates,   I can just check them all with one click.

Edit: Glad you figured it out.
