The ground is just bad satellite photography, has been there before and probably always will in some areas. Nothing that changed with the update. The distant terrain, well that's exactly what LOD 200 looked before, so... For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
