July 28, 20214 yr Has anyone been getting the same problem that I am experiencing with drastic speed changes and large fuel consumption in the FBW a320 since the SU5. I created a flight from Gatwick to Aberdeen but as I left Gatwick at about 24000 feet I had a sudden drop in speed and a large increase in fuel consumption. It snapped out of it and returned to normal climb speed and fuel consumption. It repeated through out the journey until I ran out of fuel. I had deleted FBW from the community folder and re-installed a fresh. The aircraft is set as modern (not legacy) and I have taken the mouse out of lock mode. I have re-calibrated the TCA Airbus throttle and checked the assignments of both the throttle and joystick (Hotas Warthog). Below are a couple of screen shots of the problem. The above shows I am about to stall at TOGA with no climb and fuel flow at 4200 KG/hr
July 28, 20214 yr Did you check the outside temps? There is a weird issue with upper level temps being way too high right now. Like 70 degrees above normal. I almost guarantee you that's what's going on. Former Child, Current Adult
July 28, 20214 yr Well it is developmental build, much like SU5 so my advice would be ride your luck and hope for the best 🙂 Thomas Derbyshire
July 28, 20214 yr Author Many thanks for the reply and heads up. I just checked the EWD display in the photo I attached and indeed you are correct. +32C at 38000 feet is a bit high 🙂

That's what the weather does 🙂 For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

August 1, 20214 yr Either reset the flight and hope for better weather or maybe try a preset weather option, not using live weather. At the moment the bug seems totally random. Sometimes it hits, other times it behaves as normal. It seems they have not captured all the trigger events that set this off. While you wait for a more complete fix from Asobo, try switching into one of the preset WX modes for about 5-10 minutes during your flight. Then switch back into live WX, there is a reasonable chance that it has sorted itself by then.
