All cockpit switches and knobs not moveable

Featured Replies

The sim loads and places the airplane at the chosen airport.
The switches and knobs turn blue when the cursor is placed near them. They do not move. This is a complete reinstall (twice) from the MS store. Emptied the community folder before the upgrade.

Is there a detailed guide to completely remove all pieces prior to update?

Thank you for any suggestions.

I had a problem with knobs in the FBW A320. I discovered that to operate the knobs it is the side buttons on the mouse that work. Could this be your cure?

Really struggling with similar issues. Im in the very first training session being told to click the yoke to hide it. Nothing happens - it highlights in blue but clicking does nothing.

Had this problem too.  Just clicked the centre wheel on the mouse and bingo, it went to legacy and the mouse buttons now work.

But how do you get rid of the annoying messages that keeping popping up and blocking the switch/button you are trying to select ?

No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea.

Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz the tower!

If I click the mouse centre button it goes to panning camera mode

If I click the wheel itself, nothing.

The pre SU5 mode where buttons and knobs work.

I'm having the same problem and remains so whether I choose 'Modern' or 'Legacy'.  Its also the same on default aircraft.

Would appreciate any suggestions

I think I've worked it out...

General Options/Accessibility/Cockpit Interaction System = Legacy

General Options/Accessibility/Menu Tooltips = Off

General Options/Accessibility/Instrument Name Tooltips = Off

Seems to be working
