Can you elaborate please, cause my GPU and CPU are being utilized even more.

Elaborate? Ok, use a 3080 or 3090 with 32GB RAM. Top spec these days one would say.
It is not fully utilised. Do you need any more elaboration?

lol, don't need to get cranky, I have 32gb of ram too so what. Looking for ways to optimize/compromise code does not mean you have to fully utilize hardware. Its like saying, "The speed limit on a highway needs to be 150 because I drive a Ferrari"

Are you aware that the 3090 and 3090 represent combined around 1% of the market (source)? There is no game that comes even close to fully utilizing the 3090´s VRAM capacity. That card is for professional work and I was aware of that when I bought it.

As for RAM usage, it is BAD software development practice to be wasteful and give the impression to a minority of data-freak users that their rigs are being 100% used. No developer should target that.

Being conservative when it comes to hardware requirements on the base sim will allow complex aircraft to be developed without making everything look like a slide-show some years from now.

The Positive side of the rollout is Microsoft will make alot more money.

I concur, which is great, after all that is the whole point of business isn't it? Besides, that also means MSFS is here to stay.

Here to stay on X box, until the X box folks get bored with it.

It’s absolutely nothing like that at all. It’s not just about speed, it power, and how you use that power. Just like it’s not all about FPS.

And for those that don’t use “complex aircraft”, we just want sliders to use the extra horsepower that we have……. Otherwise what’s the point in purchasing top end pc’s? Might as well just purchase a middle of the road PC that is equivalent to an Xbox.

That may be a possibility, but highly unlikely.

Being negative won't change anything, I agree with OP.

Time to move on, Asobo will take care of the issues, no doubt.

You mean like they have taken care of the live weather problems, the CTD's, the Rnav/V approaches, ?????

Well, I am running on 4K with everything mostly on Ultra plus increased rendering configs and that *is not* possible on Xbox, so it does scale.

In any case, the goal of EVERY software developer used for entertainment is to make their product runs well on middle-tier PCs.

Yes but ultra has been degraded, so, it’s not really ultra is it. This is the whole point of people’s complaints. And no, it doesn’t scale. It’s a mess. A complete mess. One that I can see with my own eyes on my 4K display and my VR headset.
Im reading posts about editing CFG files, and reversing settings. I mean, what?!

Well then maybe by mid 2022, they will have the SU5 bugs solved.

Sure, at medium settings. Otherwise what is the point in having settings at all? Ultra would become redundant. Surely ultra is for people who have ultra machines. So what if it’s only 1%, they still exist.

Be patient have a little faith, Asobo will get bugs sorted out sooner than you think.
