August 16, 20214 yr I wanted to get back to you on this. I was able to complete ILS approaches to all the 19 runways at this airport, no issues. Used stock 172 g1000 due to the very small route length. Wouldn't it be nice, and appropriate, to have published specs that define what scenery loads/will load based on whatever criteria is actually in play (geographic distance, ETA to scenery radius)? Whatever needs to be known to minimize issues. Personally I use the Addons Linker and only position what I need for a flight. But that might be a flight from here in eastern Maryland to say an airport in Indiana. I have stopped teeing up airports I will pass over or near when flying above say 8,000 feet. Another nice to have would be the ability within the running simulation to manage what scenery is active. August 17, 20214 yr I was browsing the Nvidia forums this afternoon, and I stumbled upon a post where someone was getting CTDs in MSFS because of the Nvidia Experience In-Game Overlay feature. You can turn it off in Nvidia Experience. I don't know if it's relevant to this exact CTD thread, but I just chose one to share the info.
