AI Ships Parked at the Gate ?

Featured Replies

I have absolutely NO 3rd party AI ships installed.  Today (never previously), every flight  loads with  generic (untextured) ships as AI stable aircraft parked at the gates.  I can remove them by changing my airport traffic AI aircraft to "0" but that is not what I want. Has anyone else observed this and/or any ideas what may have happened?

Interesting! 😄
Delete your Content.xml and let MSFS rebuild a new one, ships will go back to the sea.

Will do, THANK YOU !

UPDATE:  as instructed, did not fix issue.  I am going to try a copied content.xml dated in July and see what happens.

You've got the Close Encounters of the Third Kind mod installed, haven't you?😉

I had this issue before I did afresh MSFS install.

Obviously you probably don’t want to go that far, but something I deleted must have fixed it. I did clear everything out of the MSFS appdata folder and let the sim rebuild it. That might have done it.

obviously back it up before trying.

I had a similar issue up until yesterday.  I was getting flying ships, and ships at gates.  They had textures, but upon examination, I noticed that the textures we aircraft textures.  I had previously "attempted to modify the

default A320 traffic textures with airlines common to my area.  I had backed up the originals, and upon putting them back, it seems to have removed the ships.  I have no idea why the editing would have caused the invasion of the sea-going craft, but last nights flights had no watercraft where they didn't belong.   Not sure one had to do with the other, but the timing seemed to align, and I am leaving well enough alone for now.
