Thanks, Will hold off on any carenado purchases till they provide their updates, may settle for the JF arrow to carry me through the weekend (although not a twin) 😉

If you are buying a JF Piper, I would suggest the Turbo Arrow.. unless you like flying at slow speeds only... for which the default planes in MSFS actually do the job (C152, Robin, etc)

IF you are just looking for a fun low wing plane to fly, I personally prefer the P149 as an all round touring plane.

Thanks, I do prefer a little bit more speed to cover more ground in a session so I do appreciate the suggestion.

I prefer the Seneca of the two. It's well modeled and has some fun features. Here is my review of it, worthy of note is the feathering you can do and the airborne airflow starts with the prop. It also has the De-icing attachment on the windscreen for cack weather, as well as de-icing boots on the wings and tail surfaces.

the Seneca "It just seems to have that little bit of x-factor."

I agree, especially in VR. graphics quality is second to none. it is my "go to", or "fly to" airplane in MSFS, unless I feel like the CJ4 for long distance.

but this is purely for aesthetics reasons, for me aircraft looks do count, I love pretty airplanes, that's why I often switch back and forth between cockpit + spot view. nothing beats a walk around in VR before and after flights. but then, I also love to walk around and inside some of the super detailed airports and go up to the tower, check out the hangar interiors, thats also part of the experience for me. walk around and inspecting a pretty plane parked near the fbo gives you such a great feeling of virtual ownership.
