August 23, 20214 yr Wondering if it's just me, since the last "update" the 172 is unstartable. Can't select fuel tanks, even having it autocomplete the checklists the engine won't start.
August 23, 20214 yr Have you checked you mods for possible conflicts? I experienced a similar issue with the C152 at some point and the culprit turned out to be the community propeller mod.
August 23, 20214 yr Did you check the fuel shutoff valve? (red knob at the bottom of the pedestal below the mixture / throttle) What was your startup procedure? Did pressing ctrl-E work? Edited August 23, 20214 yr by FlyingInACessna
August 23, 20214 yr Author I don't have any such mods. I followed the same procedure as before, and also let the program go through the checklists automatically which should start the engine, but no such luck. Does Ctrl-e still work? Never had any success with it using MSF.

Never had any success with it using MSF. Ensure Community is empty (you can just rename it). CTRL + E has always worked for me, maybe check the keyboard bindings.
August 23, 20214 yr Since SU5 the steam gauge C172 has been tanked for me (unable to trim, etc.) - I am not the only one, though whatever happened hasn't affected everyone. The C172 g1000 version works fine for me. Randall Rocke
August 23, 20214 yr I've noticed since SU5 that the 172 doesn't keep a very straight line on an ILS approach. It moves left and right a lot more than it used to. Not particularly realistic now.
