PHOTOGRAMMETRY IN MSFS 2020

Featured Replies

For the recent update I had to uninstall and reinstall the sim and it was a long process as you all know. After updating I finally installed all the updates were available in the content manager and it works partially

(Flyable) still I find some problems but the worst one is that all the sceneries are AUTOGEN even the bing map ON the Photogrammetry is On and also I have toggled between Photogrammetry ON and OFF but

nothing changes the sceneries are same autogen like in FSX. If anybody have the similar problem or have any

idea  what I should about it. Please share it kindly. Thanks.

Did you try closing the sim and reopening it

Is your internet connection fast enough?

In your settings: DATA, check that Bing World Data is ON.

I had the same problem, but deleting the cache solved it.

I have this exact issue. Had it for a weekend before the 6 update. Everyone else had this issue and it went away. Came back after the update

Currently, it’s saying I’m offline and won’t even connect to online services. Every single update I have issues and I get maybe 1/4 times using the sim that things work fine. It sucks.

Update to my earlier post. There really is a problem with the photogrammetry, at least in the NYC area. Deleting the cache fixed it (as I reported earlier), but only temporarily. When I left MSFS and re-started, the same issue returned: photogrammetry would not work. This time, I had to turn off the on-line functionality and then back on, to see it. I have never had this problem before. Hopefully a patch will fix it.

It may actually be the MS Streaming Services that are acting up... no patch required..

Thanks, but from my experience and apparently that of many others, it's pretty clear that there is a more basic problem here.

A bunch of us had this issue in NYC when the MS servers got throttled down. Problem went away when the servers were operating fully again.
