Simbrief Question

Featured Replies

Ever since Navigraph took over Simbrief, my flight plans don't get loaded into the Simbrief downloader.  Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a way to fix it?  I am logged into Simbrief and Navigraph but my flights aren't going into the downloader.

Not quite sure this helps since I didn’t use that downloader option lately but I ran across a screen where I had to „convert“ my old SimBrief account settings to Navigraph.

Seems to be working fine here, though I'm becoming less and less enamored of the Rube Goldberg feelings I'm starting to get about this whole navigraph simbrief msfs flybywire xcetera mishmash....

I use the downloader for every flight, and have no problem at all. I don't use Navigraph, however.

I feel you on that. Ever since SU5 and my plague of CTD's, which I now hope I have finally cured, I have been flying with no mods, no Navigraph data, and using the World map to do flight planning instead of Simbrief. I am going to add back Navigraph data today along with the new Charts option and see what happens before I add anything else.

How do you use Simbrief without Navigraph?  I thought you had to use it.  Nonetheless, do you know of any documnetation that describes how to set up so that flight plans get loaded into the Simbrief Downloader so I can pull them into my FMC?

I have had a Navigraph account for years, I haven't subscribed to their data for at least a year, so all I use it for is to log onto Simbrief. I don't use an FMC, I fly a DC6, and as long as the downloader loads the FP into MSFS 2020, it also loads it into the DC6 GPS.

If you didn't link your old SimBrief account when you started logging in with Navigraph, logging out and back in to the Downloader should fix it.

In the main Downloader window, hover over your name at the top-right, choose "Logout", then log back in normally.

Best regards,

Thanks.  That seemed to do the trick.  Thanks!
