Where Is MS2020 On My Hard Drive?

Featured Replies

I have just recently installed FS2020 and, to my amazement, it seems to be running fine on my older computer with the settings at medium...Question: Where in the world did it install itself? I cannot find the "root" folders to add scenery, planes, etc...I know it is probably simple, but I need help! Thanks a lot...

You add scenery, planes, etc. to the Community folder.

For Steam version MSFS:

C:\Users\(your computer name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

I would also recommend using Addons Linker to keep better track of your addons/mods.

And welcome to MSFS. It's a great sim.

The folder is hidden, so you must set explorer to show hidden files.
