Can remember the Tile Proxy days, it was a mission anyway to get it to work. Gave up very quickly.

Tried this mod yesterday and my sim was "word not allowedised" for about 20 minutes .. LOL

Edit : The "word not allowed" starts with a b ..

Exactly.

Tileproxy was a simply outstanding idea and proof of concept that seemed to have planted the seeds for what we have now.

And now that we have that marvelous result, we want to go and F with it all over again.  

Reminds me of that meme about the guy riding a bicycle and poking a stick between the front spokes and causing himself to crash.

yes they are. Google makes them available under their EULA. If you use it in any commercial venture, they need to pay.
