November 20, 20214 yr Commercial Member Does anyone have a problem using a joystick to activate the Throttle Reverse function?
November 20, 20214 yr Yes, with some aircrafts F2 (as well as the reverse trust on joystick or throttle ) is not functional. Or lets say;sometimes works and sometimes not. I tried to adjust the deadzones etc. but could not solve the issue completely.. November 20, 20214 yr Author Commercial Member I have assigned "Toggle Reverse" to the Joystick Button. But it doesn't work properly anymore. Edited November 20, 20214 yr by OSM
November 20, 20214 yr Same happens to me, i read somewhere in a Forum that it is a SU7 bug. I tried different things wasted around an hour of time but no chance, in use was the 787-10 but F2 did work for this plane. I did not Test other planes but i will do.. cheers 😉 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.
November 20, 20214 yr Yep! They've done it again. Originally. last year for ages Reverse thrust worked perfectly with my HOTAS Warthog throttle - it has a beta range built in. Then around SU4? they cobbled it. Eventually I found a switch on the side of the throttle that did the job pretty well. And now? Useless. That is really a POS. Perhaps not as bad as cobbling Track IR but pretty bad all the same.
November 20, 20214 yr Same here. I have a few profiles, including some for aircraft with throttle reverse, or prop reverse. They're not working after SU7 :-/ Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

November 20, 20214 yr I use a Logitech Wingman Extreme joystick and the reverse thrust is working exactly the same now as before the latest update.
November 20, 20214 yr There's a workaround on the flightsimulator.com forum that advices to map DECREASE THROTTLE to the detente of your throttle - if you have it. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/reverse-thrust-broken/472181/2 Worked for me. I get that the code is somewhat volatile, but its still suboptimal that they can break basic stuff every SU release.
November 20, 20214 yr Confirmed. Couldn't switch the reverse in the Milviz Porter with the 29 button bound to the throttle lift gate. <sigh> Dominique Simming since 1981 - [email protected] GHz with 16 GB of RAM and a 1080 with 8 GB VRAM running a 27" @ 2560*1440 - Windows 10 - Warthog HOTAS - MFG pedals - MSFS Standard version with Steam
