SU7: Throttle Reverse problem

Featured Replies

Does anyone have a problem using a joystick to activate the Throttle Reverse function?

Yes, with some aircrafts F2 (as well as the reverse trust on joystick or throttle ) is not functional. Or lets say;sometimes works and sometimes not. I tried to adjust the deadzones etc. but could not solve the issue completely..

I have assigned "Toggle Reverse" to the Joystick Button. But it doesn't work properly anymore.

Same happens to me, i read somewhere in a Forum that it is a SU7 bug.

I tried different things wasted around an hour of time but no chance,  in use was the 787-10 but F2 did work for this plane.

I did not Test other planes but i will do..

cheers 😉

Yep! They've done it again.

Originally. last year for ages Reverse thrust worked perfectly with my HOTAS Warthog throttle - it has a beta range built in.

Then around SU4? they cobbled it. Eventually I found a switch on the side of the throttle that did the job pretty well.

And now? Useless. That is really a POS. Perhaps not as bad as cobbling Track IR but pretty bad all the same.

Same here.

  • I have a few profiles, including some for aircraft with throttle reverse, or prop reverse. They're not working after SU7 :-/

Thanks for your answers Folks! I have fond this topic with reverse bug discussion and some temporary solutions.

I use a Logitech Wingman Extreme joystick and the reverse thrust is working exactly the same now as before the latest update.

Confirmed. Couldn't switch the reverse in the Milviz Porter  with the 29 button bound to the throttle lift gate. <sigh>
