Seems to be a common issue, judging from the toga forums.

It stopped working after updating to envdir 1.3.2.3. 

Does anyone have the installer for envdir 1.3.2.2 by any chance?

they literally just updated it with a 2nd patch for V5.3.  I updated it again this morning. 1.3.2.3 

running fine

Yes, and 1.3.2.3 is not working for me, and many others on their forums.

have you tried uninstalling it and downloading a new copy from where you bought it?

Yes, several times.

Thing is, Envdir is freeware and only a tool necessary to run  envtex,envshade etc, which is payware. 
Envdir is easily downloadable on their site ( unfortunately only the latest version..) , but on not simmarket where i bought Mr. Tex and Shade.

These installers will download envdir when installing, then again only the latest version which is not working for lots of us.

 

Same issue here. Give up on fooling with it. EA looks good on its' own anyway. 

It’s an annoying bug that’s been around for a while that they don’t seem be interesting in fixing

Anyway in your User/AppData/Local folder there will be a folder “TOGA_projects” delete that and then EnvDir will start. Don’t delete the Toga projects folder that doesn’t have an underscore in the name.

No they updated Tex and Shade today not Envdir as far as I can see, still V1.3.2.3.

It is ridiculous that Toga Projects have not addressed this problem as it has been going on for ages.

I have to either re-install Envdir and/or delete 'user.config' to get it working.

And this is payware !!!😖

Reinstalling ENVSHADE fixed it for me.

I had reinstalled ENVTEX and ENVDIR(the new version 1.3.2.3), but ENVDIR failed to start.

Obviously this would still be a problem for those who don't use ENVSHADE.
