December 10, 20214 yr Thank you @fppilot. Your video provided the best explanation I've seen of how VNAV works and how it may be utilized by the Garmin NXi. Everyone should watch this excellent video. I do have one question, however. Does the Garmin NXi that is currently available for some of the MSFS aircraft perform all the functions enumerated in your video for real aircraft? In other words, can I currently use the VNAV functions in MSFS that the video describes? I use VNAV for my RNAV approaches in the G36 Bonaza.. so yes, you can. "Perform all the functions" is a bit much to expect... I am sure that not "everything" is modeled.. 😉 Try it!
