December 12, 20214 yr Any function that can be assigned to an axis can be used by anything that has an axis. So just assign the trim wheel axis to whichever throttle lever you want to use as the trim wheel. If MSFS won't let you do it (some MSFS assignment functions are still suboptimal) then use FSUIPC. The problem you will run into is that throttle levers aren't self-centering, so you'll have a hard time knowing where "straight" is. December 12, 20214 yr Just assign trim up/down to one of the switches, just like you do for flaps. December 13, 20214 yr Author Thank you all for the help. There seems to be a problem. A trim axis needs to move up and down for trim up and trim down action. The Logitech quarant is built for one direction up from 0 to 100. Do you mean to move the lever to 50 as the starting position for 0 trim? But that seems to be inaccurate and cumbersome to do.
December 13, 20214 yr Pick up the Logitech multipanel. It has an included trim wheel along with a flaps switch and the Autopilot functionality it provides is amazing. Or just use one of the throttle quadrant switches as an electric trim switch as 177B suggested. James
