Sunny Skies over Valdez

Featured Replies

Nice cold and clear skies over Valdez (PAVD).

Then after landing, saving the flight and coming back to the sim later, the weather was quite different. Moments after this screen pic it was a white out, quite disorientating.

Thanks everyone, I like Valdez, the glaciers, the bay and the ships that sail too and fro 🙂

And the weather is usually either snowing, raining or overcast.

I was testing a fuel flow gain table of N1 percentages to tune the engines so to speak,

Cheers

Great shots. I did a similar flight out of Valdez a couple of days ago (in MSFS). The weather there can change fairly quickly 🙂

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080

Beautiful shots...Valdez pictures are always awe-inspiring...

I've Orbx/FSX PAVD and often fly around that airport.... your P3D screenshots, here, look even sharper...

Hey thanks, I do have a highly tuned P3D (especially within the prepar3d.cfg), also running my own rolled tomato and reshade varieties.

In particular a reshade luma sharpen filter which has both a sharpen and brighten effect depending on how it is configured.

Plus running a DSR screen mode for the improved resolution and AA effect it provides.

Cheers
